A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOISE CITY (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT) AND COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINICS, INC. (D/B/A TERRY REILLY HEALTH SERVICES), FOR THE USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS FOR ADMINISTRATION OF THE HEALTH CARE SERVICES ACTIVITY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK, RESPECTIVELY, TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST THE AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

              WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 318-19, adopted by the City Council and approved by the Mayor on July 17, 2019, an application was filed with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to obtain Federal funds to use in achieving, locally, the objectives of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-383), as amended, and Title 3, Chapter 5, Boise City Code; and

 

              WHEREAS, through a public participation process, Boise City awarded sixty thousand dollars ($60,000.00) of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to Terry Reilly Health Services for medical visits; and

 

              WHEREAS, Terry Reilly Health Services asserts its willingness and qualifications to assist Boise City in attaining its community development objectives.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO:

 

Section 1.              That the agreement by and between the city of Boise City and Terry Reilly Health Services, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference, shall be, and hereby is, approved both as to both form and content.

 

Section 2.              That the Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, shall be, and they hereby are, authorized to execute and attest the attached agreement on behalf of the city of Boise City.

 

              Section 3.              That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and approval.
